Being a wife and mom has shaped my experiences as an adult. Throughout the different ages and stages, my 6 girls have stretched me and taught me about myself, life, and the beauty of becoming.

My career in education has included K-12 experiences, with a focus on language and literacy, as well as my current position as a teacher educator. In these roles, I have been able to discover many of my passions and then see connections to the bigger picture of life. Learning to discern when to invest and when to set limits in my career has been a big part of my journey.
